Hey thanks for the question . I can understand your problem . There are certain plastic surgeries which can be done for the eyes also like the eyelid muscle surgeries and botox also and certain skin lightening agents which can be used around the eye like vitamin E based and glutathione based creams . But we need to assess whether they can help you or not for that a complete eye examination will be needed . Hope my answer helps you . Regards

Wow, thank you for the answer, that was fast.
But nothing changed in the eyelids. Well, the lower lid maybe is thinner now because the fat was "melted" there, but i don't see a big change in how it is placed around the eye. It looks like the eye in itself is less "brilliant" somehow. But was my assumption false? that what happened to the face due to radiofrequency (burning of the subcutaneous layer of the skin on the higher cheeks) could have influenced the "expression" of the eyes? That is my dilemma: what makes the eyes "pop", what makes them brilliant and expressive? Any substances in the brain/nervous system?
How can we make a complete eye examination?
Thank you in advance for your answer!

A good occuloplastic surgeon can examine you for the same
Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for the question . I have this theory that the adjacent structures of the eyes like eyelids and cheek bones can change the way our eyes look like . Because of the procedure you underwent you have lost the contour of those structures . Maybe If we can do something for the contour of them we can improve the expression of your eyes . A good occuloplastic surgeon can help you in the same after examining the eye as in to what all is needed and can be safely done . Regards

But by that you are talking that the contour of these structures, but not the internal conponents (nerves, tissue, etc)?
Thank you again for your kind and professional answer!

I apologize but my stupid phone autocorrected your name in my previous question and i didn't realize it.
I conpletely agree with you that the muscles and adipose tissue form the contour.
But what i meant is do changes in the internal structure of the cheeks (for instance small nerves in the subcutaneous tissue were destroyed too because of the heat) may have influenced what the eyes look like.
The tissue regenerated (vessels, nerves and cells have brown back, maybe not completely the same), but could that have had an influence too?
Thank you!

Nerves can regenerate slowly but cannot be replaced
Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for the follow up . I dont think the small nerve endings in subcutaneous tissue play a major role in contour . Yes if a major branch is damaged then some facial movements become difficult . Nerves cannot be replaced though but they do regenerate slowly in few years. Hope it helps . Regards

The normal lustre is by the tear film
Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for follow up .The normal lustre is by tear film and that is damaged only when major nerves get damaged which would have affected your eye movements also and as that is not the case we dont need to worry . Hope it helps regards

Thank you for your fast answer!
I didn't mean that the nerves have any influence in the contour, of course not. I meant maybe there are substances in the local nervous network (nerve endings) may impact how the eyes look. Because what makes the eyes brilliant? maybe substances in the nervous system/brain? am i talking gibberish? i ask because i don't know :)
Thank you in advance!

Thank you again for your fast input!
I never got this information from any doctor, so thank you!
How about the color of the iris and the expression of the eyes? what influences that?
Could something like acupuncture have an effect on the eyes?
Thank you!
Iuliana.

From my experience it is pretty obvious to me though that the change RF produced in my face changed the way my eyes look. And i am not talking about the contour. And since this change is irreversible (it is not the same tissue how, i don't think it was fully recovered exactly the way it was when the tissue was regenerated, at least the adipose tissue is not), then also the change in the look of the eyes is also irreversible.
However, it is interesting that certain conditions make the eyes look more vibrant and expressive - as i said once i got injected in the high cheeks with hyaluronic acid and the cheeks got inflamed and the eyes looked different too (in a good way). Also when i am at the seaside they become more vibrant. The anatomy is a little intriguing to me. I wish i knew all the answers.
Have a good day,
Iuliana.

Hyaluronic acid does enhance the soft tissue of the cheek
Detailed Answer:
Hey I went through your comment . Yes I agree hyaluronic acid and even glutathione give an uplift to the skin with enhanced soft tissues and alleviate dry skin and lock in the moisture . When we are at seaside we are exposed directly to the sunrays at a higher Uv level and that can cause certain skin changes make it look more vibrant to some and a little too tanned to others . Hope my answer helps you . Have a good day

But i didn't mean anything of what you said.
I meant that the nerve endings in the face or maybe something else affect the nerves or whatever anatomical component that gives the eyes their look. Just like adrenaline makes the pupil bigger maybe some substances in the face in corelation with the nervous system or whatever influence how the eyes look. Otherwise i don't explain myself why after the RF on my cheeks my eyes look different now.
Are we on the same page with this?
What do you think?
Thank you,
Iuliana.

Yes adrenaline does cause pupil to enlarge
Detailed Answer:
Minimal
amounts of adrenaline can cause facial flushing but long term adrenaline can cause wrinkling, acne and dullness. Do you mean it like that? Hope it helps . Regards
