Question: Hello, I'm facing a problem with falling asleep. I have been facing stress-related issues in the recent past due to personal problems. My stress became worse and I reached a stage where sometimes I fail to sleep the whole night. Even if I sleep, I will have a disturbed sleep with weird dreams. Please help.

Brief Answer:
Medications and behavioural changes...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Based on your description it seems stressors are significantly affecting sleep pattern. A regular diet, physical exercise, mediation technique and others are useful options to destress. In addition I would suggest having an early dinner. Try an hot shower before going to bed. These techniques at home may help you.

In addition it is recommend to manage stress effects with medications as suggested by the doctor. In addition you should also try behavioral changes through a psychologist.

In the meantime medications like clonazepam and other related medications may be used to aid sleep. These are prescription drugs which can be only purchased with a prescription. Talk to your local doctor if they can issue a prescription.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
