Hello, I Noticed This Sudden Change Of Color On My
Question: Hello,
I noticed this sudden change of color on my penis about 10 days ago. it was lighter at first but i think it has got slightly dark now. i had masturbated using body gel before. I showed it to a nurse who said it looks like wart. I then showed it to a doctor who said it doesnt look like wart because warts are itchy. it does not itch or hurt at all. i am confused what it is. i have done all std tests and everything including hiv, syphillis, chlamedia and gonorrhea are negative.

I can see a patch of depigmented skin. I think that it is not a wart because warts are usually raised and have a rough/ irregular surface whereas this seem like flat normal skin but without pigment. Thank you doctor. It is slightly raised than the pigmented area, however, it is not rough. It also has a raised point within the depigmented area which is not rough, though it has at least one tiny point which is rough. I don't think it is vitiligo given the difference in form.

The surface in the earlier image seems like skin rugosities/ convolutions of thin skin at this site and also due to veins traversing thin skin causing it to seem raised at places. I think the skin would become flat if stretched. It is certainly not a wart. Vitiligo is a possibility. Take care.
