Hello, I Recently Got A Lip Piercing And I Have

Question: Hello, I recently got a lip piercing and I have a feeling it’s getting infected. Any tips on what I should do? Or is there a way I can show you and get an opinion ?
Brief Answer:
Please attach a picture in the followup query.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
What are the symptoms you are experiencing? Is there any pain or burning sensation? Is there any increase in size of redness? Any pus discharge?
Mild inflammation and reactive changes are quite common immediately after piercing and will settle by itself.
As of now clean the area with clear water, you can also use alcohol free mouthwash also.
It will be better if you attach a picture in the followup query.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks

So I got the piercing 2 weeks ago. I wake up with it really swollen. And it goes down with the warm compress. The inside of my lip seems like the swelling won’t go down.
Brief Answer:
We can wait few more days.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It seems like a resolving inflammation.
As of now continue warm compression and lets wait for few days to assess the progress.
If the swelling persists or if there is increase in size, antibiotics may be required.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks
