Hello, I Recently Had Unprotected Oral Sex With A Female.
Question: Hello, I recently had unprotected oral sex with a female. what are my chances of contracting gonherrea or chlamydia on my penis? I have no symptoms of either that I can tell.
Brief Answer:
The chances are low.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Chlamydia is less likely to be transmitted during oral sex just because it is not a common pathogen in the oral cavity or throat, so the chances for transmission is almost impossible.
However Gonorrhea can be transmitted through unprotected oral sex if the partner was harbouring infection in the oral cavity. But the chances for transmission is low because Gonorrhea infection of the oral cavity is very rare.
As you are asymptomatic nothing much to worry and you can go for a serology for reassurance.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks
