I recently noticed this “pimple” like thing in the middle of my left nipple.it doesn’t hurt or anything and it’s attached to the nipple so i know it’s not a pimple but it looks like one. Is this normal? My right nipple doesn’t have anything like it

Hello and thank you for your question. Hope I can be of help for you today. Nipple is the central projection in the areola. The pimple-like thing in the middle of your left nipple looks benign and not infection because not red or swelling around the pimple or on the pimple. Do you have any discharge from the pimple breast? For my practice I would do physical examination and ultrasound to rule out any obstruction duct below the nipple. Try to feel your breast if any mass on the left breast compared to the right breast. If there is a symptom like discharge, itchy, red and painful you should need to be treated.
