Question: Hello I was diagnosed to have a gallstone. It measures 2.6 cm. The doctor said that I will need to do a laparoscopy and that my gall bladder will be taken out. I just to know if this is the best option for me. What will be the effect if I no longer have a gall bladder? I also would like to know how long is the usual recuperation or patient after laparoscopy? Thank.
