Question: Hello, I was playing with a cat and was suspicious whether I need to take rabies vaccines. I didn't find any blood or scratch marks or bite. I started the first dose after 6 days and now I am taking 4 th dose on this Saturday. My question is as now I have taken necessaryution, is there any probability of rabies occuring? That is can rabies happen even after takin vaccination?

Touching or licking on the intact skin without any scratch or abrasion belongs to category-1 and does not require vaccination.
In your case the lesion seems like category-1 and you have already taken vaccination also, so there is nothing to worry and chances for rabies vaccination is nil.
