Hello! I’m Attaching A Few Pictures Of A Pinkish Colored

Question: Hello! I’m attaching a few pictures of a pinkish colored spot located on the top of my shoulder....can you please take a look and let me know what it might be? At first I thought it was a pimple, and I’m not sure how long it has been there, perhaps for about one and a half to two weeks. I did squeeze it yesterday and it was mostly bloody discharge which came out of it. Thank you!!
Brief Answer:
Seems to be a pimple, nothing to worry about
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be a pimple only.Nothing to worry about.
I would recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like benzoyl peroxide 5 percent gel on the affected area twice daily for 10 days.
This should resolve it.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further queries.
Regards
Dr Asmeet

Hi Dr. Sawhney!!! I hope this finds you well!! Thanks for taking a look and for your reassurances -- you know me with the skin worries when I see new spots that are there for awhile. One last question -- can pimples last that long -- two weeks or so? I guess I'm just used to getting random pimples and having them come and go in a few days. Thanks again!
Brief Answer:
Pimples do last for 2-3 weeks sometimes
