Hello, I'm Having Severe Pain In The Area Directly "underneath"

Peroneal tendinitis possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I see the photo you attached where is shown the location of pain.
It can be peroneal tendinitis mainly caused by an increased load and overuse of the tendons, leading to them rubbing on the bone.
This friction causes the tendons to swell and then will thicken in size to try and manage the increased load more efficiently.
If you are running or exercising hard, use improper footwear it can cause it.
You can go to visit orthopedist to examine it or do also a x-ray.
You may need to immobilise it using a boot or support. Using antinflamatory drugs such advil or naproxen for pain and swelling is advisable.
Use hot and cold compresses alternating them often.
It may need some days to weeks to get better.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

The ice and ibuprofen don't seem to help as there is still swelling and pain.
There is also pain along the outside of my foot...so odd.
I have a boot from a previous injury to my right ankle/foot. I think I will likely have to do as you also say that i might need to visit an orthopaedist, etc. Thank you for your advice and have a wonderful wonderful day.
Thank you,
Steffi
Most welcome.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for writing again.
I am pretty sure it is peroneus tendinitis but if you want you can visit your orthopedist.
Meanwhile you can put the boot, have rest and use antinflamatory drugs such advil or naproxen.
You are welcome.
Wishing you good health.
Best regards
