Question: Hello,
I’m on the pill same one for 3 years. But I have been randomly bleeding heavy the past couple months. I skip my periods so this is very weird. I also had a kidney infection early this year and have abdominal pain regularly but worse since the infection. I also get very light headed frequently and that’s become very common twice today. I also get chest pain at night.
I also need help with my antidepressants, iv tried 4/5 in the last year and I get horrible side affects from them all and I really need to find one that works as I’m finding my mental health to be getting worse again.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

First of all I like to inform you that depression and anxiety are largely treatable disorder and appearance of side effects with one or another antidepressants does not mean you will suffer with depression. On the current date there are number of antidepressants available and it is possible that with appropriate hit and trial we can find out the most suitable one.
For doing so I will request you to provide following details.

1. Name of antidepressants, dose of each one and problems encountered by you during the course of treatment
2. Symptoms of depression and anxiety which are most bothersome to you
3. Your work profile as it will help me to find out most suitable antidepressant for you.

In regard to other part of query I feel depression could be contributing factor for increased bleeding. The other factors common for both depression and irregular periods is thyroid hormone abnormalities. So testing out thyroid is highly recommended.

I hope this helps you to some extent.
In addition I look forward to assist you further.
Thanks again.
