In comparing validity of two tests:
Test A:Patient pop-10,000, AUC-.82, NPV-.95
Test B:Patient pop-905, AUC-.87, NPV-.98
Which would have more validity/value?

It would have really been helpful if you could give the context of the tests and reports. However, the one with higher AUC (area under curve) as well as NPV (negative predictive value) has a higher level of validity. In the given situation, Test B clearly has greater validity.
