Question: Hello,
My age is 36. I am drinking alcohol since last ten years not regularly but 3 or 4 days in a week with no major problems just like hangover, loss of appetite for 2-3 days and after that normal health. But for some days whenever I drink alcohol I feel uneasy just after one peg like faster heart beats , slight pain at the middle of the chest on touching there and vomits- yellow liquid . After vomiting I feel normal. That's it . I don't know what's happening.
Please tell me the solution.

Please suggest medication for the symptoms if requires because otherwise I am feeling alright as long as I am not taking alcohol. And also tell me for how long I have to quit alcohol . As sometimes I have to take to avoid tiredness of job.

I generally prescribe oral medication of pantoprazole to my patients to be taken on empty stomach for atleast 2 weeks.
It's advisable not to consume alcohol once for all, otherwise the Gastritis will recur and may worsen.
It's advisable to de-stress from your work pressure in a more constructive way rather than depending on alcohol.
