I knew that much about both drugs. Supposedly both were written for a small yeast infection of his throat, which I am quite sure is not the case. I know what both drugs are typically used for and I guess I just wanted confirmation that I wasn't losing my mind as I am an RN of 23 years. He was given a 10 day supply of Valtrex and a 35 of Diflucan.
