Question: Hello! My name is Elyse. I'm from the United States and I live in XXXXXXX I am 26 years old and have acid reflux and seasonal allergies to pollen, dust and mold. I have had odd symptoms lately and I am asking to see if I should go to a hospital. For the past week I have had a very dry throat and pain in my abdomen. No cough, no fever and no changes in appetite. However, the pain in my abdomen comes and goes and is a sharp pain. I also have a headache that comes and goes. It is odd for me to have both abdomen pain and also a dry throat. Should I go to a hospital and seek care?

Brief Answer:
More details needed about abdominal pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think the dry throat you are having may be related to seasonal allergies, it is much common in seasonal allergies.
You may continue to take antihistamines.
You can also use lozenges to keep your throat moisturized.

Talking about the stomach pain you may need to specify the place on the abdomen where the pain is located. How strong the pain is estimated from 1-10.

How is your stool, watery, frequent or are you constipated?

If the pain is related in the upper middle quadrant it can be related to gastritis.
Waiting for your follow up question.
