Hello. My Wife Is Sick And With The Coronavirus We

Question: Hello. My wife is sick and with the coronavirus we are more worried than normal. She had a low grade fever 6 days ago that lasted a few hours. Since then she has not had a fever but she has a cough, which it sounds like she has a lot of phlegm. She has a stuffy nose, upset stomach, headache and diarrhea. She has a lot of allergies and we thought initially it was allergies and or a sinus infection. Should we be worried and/or ask for a coronavirus test?
Brief Answer:
It is unlikely COVID.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The symptoms are not consistent with COVID and more likely suggestive of upper respiratory tract bacterial infection.
No need to test for COVID unless you had travel history or contact with suspected person. However it will be better to use face mask and hand sanitisation.
Consult a general practitioner and start a short course of antibiotics preferably amoxicillin empirically for her symptoms. Over the counter available expectorant cough syrups can be taken to clear cough.
Thanks
