Hello, So I M Just Wanting Some Advice On This

Question: Hello,

So I'm just wanting some advice on this situation. I have been having minor muscle/nerve twitches all over my body for the past few months. I feel them all over my body, like little twitches in my arm, parts of my face, or legs. Lately I feel them in my stomach, I've also felt little twitches in my eyelids before too etc. I'll pretty much feel them anywhere, but it was never painful or constant all the time. Lately however, I have been feeling them more and more often. They aren't painful, but they are uncomfortable feeling them so often. Are there any further suggestions or things I can do, or what this could be? Are there any natural nutrients or things I can do to improve my health and this condition?

Thank you in advance!

Possible conditions and steps to evaluation listed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to the “Ask a Doctor “ service.

I have read your question.

There are conditions known to be linked to the muscles twitching in different parts of the body, beginning with Benign Fasciculations Syndrome (BFS) as one of the conditions encountered more

There are metabolic changes in the blood such as electrolytes imbalance, low vitamins ( especially group B) that may associate with twitching.

Finally, rarely there are neuro-degenerative conditions such as multiple sclerosis for example that could be considered as well.

In your case, seeing a Neurologist and getting blood tests for electrolytes and vitamin levels done are necessary to understand correctly your condition.

Healthy lifestyle and diet should improve your symptoms in the case of the metabolic changes or BFS.

Hope you found the answer helpful.
