Question: Hello. So my symptoms started about 3 weeks ago. I began experiencing frequent urination, then a couple days later, bladder spasms, groin cramps, perineum pain, testicle pain, then lower back pain. I had 2 Negative UTIs tests. I also experienced mild abdominal cramps. Then a week ago I started having gastrointestinal issues, including indigestion, acid reflux and bloating. The frequent urination, groin pains and stomach issues have dissipated for the most part. I also had sudden intense right back pain that migrated to the mid back, and since then I’ve had tender LRQ cramps when pressing down on that area.
I also received a blood test to check my prostate but I haven’t received the results. Also I started experiencing Paresthesia on one side of my face then both around the same time but I assumed it wasn’t related. I haven’t had any numbness or weakness with that.
I’m terrified I might have some type of cancer that’s causing all this. I’m a male, 35, healthy, non smoker. Thank you for your time.

Brief Answer:
I don't see a reason for any cancer.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.
I have read your query.
I don't think your symptoms are caused by any type of cancer.
These symptoms are mostly pointing towards a genitourinary tract infection ( even viral ones ).
This is very possible if you had unprotected sexual relation recently.
Kidney stones ( small ones ) also may be a possible explanation.
I think that an abdominal ultrasound may be necessary in addition to the other tests in order to understand correctly your condition.
Discuss with your primary care Doctor for these issues.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you for your answer. I have a few more questions. So I already had a urine test looking for bacteria or blood and it came back negative. I also have not had unprotected sex in a very long time. Lately I’ve had more abdominal cramps focusing more on my right upper abdomen, as well as dull middle and lower back pain.
Do you have any idea what could be causing the paresthesia on the sides of my face? It seems to go away when I touch it and I don’t feel any weakness or numbness just tingling.
I have an ultrasound as well as some other blood and urine tests coming up from my doctor. Just trying to get an idea of what it could be. I’m worried.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
More specific tests are necessary.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
Since the routine urine tests came back negative, specific tests ( for clamidia for example ) are necessary.
There may be an infection of bowels too ( diverticulitis for example ).
Ultrasound should give more information about the abdominal organs and their possible involvement.
The paresthesia in one side of your face may be linked to irritated trigeminal nerve on that side.
Viral infections also may be a possibility.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
