Question: Hello! Was outside yesterday afternoon working in the yard clipping trees. The wind was blowing and while cutting and pruning I inhaled what may have been a bug or debris from the tree. Can't say for sure what it was? I have had a cough ever since and it feels like there is something in my chest. I sleep with a cpap machine and found it uncomfortable to breath with the pressure of air. What do I do now?

I can understand your concern

As you explain the situation yes I also think it might be a foreign body you might be inhaled.If the cough is continuously without improvement than it confirms it.For this we usually recommend to the patient to do a chest X ray and according to the result the doctor will decide if there is need to follow up or not.

If the cough get away after some days than probably this might be an allergy reaction due to the pollen of the wind. In such conditions an inhaler with steroids such as beclomethasone
twice for some days is needed.
So you just observe your situation in the following days.
