Question: Hello. Worried about sti exposure from hndjob in massage parlor. Read there is virtually zero risk. But some conflicting information.

There is no risk of STDs whatsoever from a skin to skin contact like in a handjob. STDs are only transmitted through either vaginal, anal or oral sex wherein there is either contact with infected genital mucosa or exchange of infectious genital secretions.

Thanks Doctor. Much appreciated. Rwad as much from Dr Hansfield and Hunter on medhelp. Seems reassuring. Stupid drunk decision. Almost unconcious when i did this with drink. Does this include HPV? It was maybe 2-3 mins for her to finish. No oral from what i recall. He ass was facing me. Clothed with tights. No access to vagina. I am more concerend that i could infect my partner with something. Shebis pregnant. I am also anxious about holding my little 4 year old boys hand. Is it 100% safe foe me tonforget about this stupid experience? Move on and resume sex with my wife? Only 2 days ago but no symptoms other than anxiety.

Hi Doc. If - pretty sure this did not happen - she spat on my penis for lube during massage - does this put me at any risk of contracting anything? I do not recall this but just in case.

If she used her spit, in that case, there is a possibility of genital herpes if she had the virus in her saliva(usually hsv type 1). Even someone with active syphilitic lesions inside oral cavity would be considered infectious in this scenario though HIV is unlikely unless someone has open sores or blood mixed saliva.

Hi Doc.
Feeling a lot better now. Still, relating to your last post, if she did spit on penis - pretty certain she didn't - is it highly unlikley transmission could take place this way. I believe i have hsv-1 already from chilhoid cold sores. Does this give immunity from hsv 1 re-infection? More asking out of intellectual curiosity now.

Having HSV 1 already does lower your chances of getting it elsewhere. Not only type 1 HSV but also type 2 HSV due to cross immunity as both these tyoes share common antigens.
