Hello, A Couple Days Ago I Was On The Verge

Question: Hello, a couple days ago I was on the verge of being intimate with a woman. While kissing her breasts, I tasted something on her nipple and immediately thought it might be some kind of discharge from her her nipple. I immediately stopped and went to the bathroom to rinse my mouth with listerine. I stopped being intimate with her after that incident. I do not know her health status. As far as I know, she is not pregnant, so I am not quite sure what I tasted. If it truly was some kind of discharge, is there any risk of infection if she happened to have something? Thank you.
Brief Answer:
None of the causes can risk you of any infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Nipple discharge can be related to many medical conditions such as the use of birth control pills.
Other possible conditions can be hormonal disorders or breast infections.
Actually, none of the possible conditions can risk you of any infection.
You should not be worried.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards!

Hello, Doctor. Thank you for answering my question. This had never happened to me before, and I know it may sound silly, but my main concern was with possible HIV infection since I do not know her health status. Since you say there is no risk of any kind of infection, I will relax.
All the best,
RM
