Question: Hello and good morning. On August 23rd Inhad a transvaginal non OB ultrasound to check a cyst and mirena placement. Yesterday my gyn called out of the blue saying she needs to rescan the area??? I am confused as to why so long interval after thinking it was a standard cyst? I am a 44 year old female with marker 16 and 42 HPV and A typical cells from my last coloposcopy. Thank you!!

Very difficult to comment as there is no information about previous scan report.
So may be for a follow up ultrasound scan to assess the cyst or for colposcopy.

thank you I just talked to her. I guess I have a 4cm ovarian cyst she wants to recheck and my mirena is low positioned so probably not a big deal. Thank you for your time.
