Question: Hello doc, i took 21 active pills then have mens on 26th day, my last mens was 28 day. So i had sex on my first of period. Can i get pregnant?

Thanks for your query.

Intercourse within 8 days soon after period and 8 days just before periods will not result in pregnancy if the cycles are around 28 to 30 day duration.

This is because the ovulation occurs in the middle of the cycle one or two days on either side and stays for one or two days. Intercourse during these days can result in pregnancy.

Ah okay doc thank you, but im taking pills now, and its day 2. because yesterday i had sex on my first period and cum inside. So im afraid. so i started to take a new pill yesterday to avoid pregnancy. Is it okay?
