Hello Doctor, I Am 23 Year Old Female Writing To
I am 23 year old female writing to you about my concern with headache and flashy vision.
I had severe cold, cough and fever few weeks ago and I did my blood test and all reports showed normal except ESR being high. The doctor I consulted gave me few antibiotics, Dolo and cough syrup. I could not feel relived with these tablets and I again consulted the doctor and he increased the dose for antibiotics. The other symptoms I had when on fever was, I am not able to hear properly and I feel a buzz all the time like I was kept in some closed room.
Few days after using the tablets, my symptoms for cold and fever reduced little but I started having strange severe headaches from Monday. The pain is more so on the left side of my head an I am having the sensation that something is hitting or beating from inside the head. while I am travelling to and fro to office, I am having nausea and vomiting sensation.
Yesterday morning I could not see properly - I was seeing some blind spots and blank areas in whatever I see and later I had aura's or white flashes in my vision. It was like some flashing lights from either sides of my eyes and then severe head ache. I took crocin and my headache reduced but it came back in the night and I am still having sever headache even now. This is the first time I am having symptoms like flashy eye sight with headache. I do have headaches but not this frequent or severe.
I also have thyroid problem - my ATG levels are 203 and TSH 7.57. (attached reports)
I am very concerned with these symptoms and getting very anxious. are these issues serious and can this be treated? Can you please suggest me what has to be done for these symptoms?
Regards, XXXXXXX
Headaches are most likely due to migraine.
