Hello doctor, Thank you for the reply. Right now she is having oxygen for 5-6 hours in a day. Her temperature goes high suddenly to 101 , heart beat is always above 115 and sometimes it touches 160 too. My queries are will she recover if she follow any specific medication? Do you suggest any specific medication for her fast recovery? In case if medication is suggested, for how many days she should follow that. Who would be the right specialist to show her.
Brief Answer:
Interpretation of reports and general condition
Detailed Answer:
Hello, welcome back.
I went through all reports and provided clinical history. Based on these, it can be said that she is suffering from
- Lung infection, most likely COVID.
- Acute kidney infection (pyelonephritis)
- Large spleen and low platelet count
It is a serious multiple organ dysfunction condition. However, her general condition is still okay. She is not on ventilator, which is good. Her blood reports are almost normal, which is also good.
If she will remain on oxygen and continue with similar blood reports, there are chances of recovery. Her immune system will overcome the infection.
If there is deterioration in kidney function or she needs ventilator, it will be a dangerous situation.
She must consult general physician, critical care specialist and nephrologist to overcome all organs dysfunctions.
For chest, she should do spirometer exercise, breath holding exercise, avoid physical work, avoid cold/dust, take hydrocotisone/deriphylline/salbutamol nebulisation after prescription. She should be given antibiotics like ceftriaxone/ofloxacin after prescription.
Hope it will help. Please let me know if you any doubts.
Thanks
