Brief Answer:
This is a common, minor problem.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. Such minor bleeding is common in this weather and due to allergies. After the age of 3 years every child has some varying amount of adenoid hypertrophy.

2. Saline nasal drops such as Nasoclear or Nasomist will help. These can be used as many times and in as much quantity as required. Avoid finger trauma while removing crusts, if any.

3. If the nasal congestion is increasing, then let me know. Further medication can be started. If it is mild, do not use nasal decongestant drops or anti-allergy medications as these tend to further dry the nose.

4. During the growth of the nose, such minor bleeding can occur. To determine if it. was related to the fall, direct examination and investigation (Adenoid X-ray, complete. blood counts, coagulogram) of the nose will be necessary. This is done only if the bleeding increases or does not subside.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
