Hello, For The Past 4 Years I’ve Had A Discomfort

Question: Hello, for the past 4 years I’ve had a discomfort (bloating, swollen) feeling on the left side of my body near my left rib cage area. I’ve had an x-ray, mri and ultrasound done and the doctors haven’t found anything. Should one concerned? I don’t have any pain just a discomfort. Some days are worst than others. The discomfort has never gone away just lightens up.

Hi,

It could be Acid peptic disease. Upper GI endoscopy will give a clue.

I prescribe Proton pump inhibitor like Rabeprazole along with Levosulpiride to my patients with similar complaints.
Take frequent small feeds.
Avoid spicy food, carbonated drinks, caffeine products etc.
Nothing to worry.
Please consult a Gastroenterologist and proceed further.

Should I take this even though it says it’s for heartburn? I don’t have heartburn. Sometimes the center of my chest and my abdominal areas feel warm. I just purchased it. What will it treat?
