Hello, I Encountered Pink Eye On Both Eyes. After That
Question: Hello,
i encountered pink eye on both eyes.
After that i was given Chloramphenicol eye drops and oimtment by my GP.
i used it , now the red and pink eyes are gone however something new has started. I cant even see my phone properly, Everything is blurred and i cant see when its bright.
this nee condition has been happening since 2 dayz.
the other thing is before it started, i had put alit bit more of the chloramphenicol ointment and choloramphenicol eye drops 0.5 percent.
please advise what i should do to get rid of blurness and light sensitivity.

Hey thanks for your question. You have to get an eye examination done by an ophthalmologist dear . Post pink eye cornea aka the clear part of the eye can be involved by a number of lesions which can persist for some time and need treatment in form of eye drops . They are called subepithelial deposits . Besides that you should also get your refraction done and retina checked. Only then we can arrive at a diagnosis . Hope my answer helps you. Regards

Hi again,
it is sunday today and i dont see improvement.
i shall go to eye doctor tommorow.
i think my problem is i put alot of eye drops and ointment. can i wash my eye with water to reduce the overdose ? what should i do to reduce overload

hello thanks for the follow up query . Eyes can always be cleaned with clean water dear but any drop or ointment usually doesnt stay in eye for so long as to cause problems . hope it helps. Regards
