Brief Answer:
Probably not related to doxocycline usage.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think this problem is not related to doxocycline usage because doxocycline doesn't give this side effect of hair fall and thinning of hair and nails.
The thinning of hair and nails and hair fall may probably be related to an autoimmune inflammatory disease such probably thyroiditis, lupus etc.
I think you may need to do a total blood count with formula, thyroid hormones.
In order to help a bit hair growth and nail growth you may use folic acid and vitamin B complex.
Also using minoxidil lotion for hair is advisable.

Hope I have answered the question.

Brief Answer:
Doxocycline probably isn't the cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
I don't think this is caused by doxocycline because you have used it three and half months ago which is enough time for your body to clear it out and regenerate hair and nails.
The doxocycline doesn't affect thyroid.
You may need to do a total blood count and thyroid hormone levels. Taking vitamin B complex supplements, folic acid and minoxidil will help.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best regards.

Brief Answer:
Use vitamin B complex and folic acid supplements.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

I think you better need to use vitamin B complex (Biotin especially) and folic acid supplements rather than Vitamin D and minerals to nourish your hair.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best regards.
