Hello and thank you for asking!
I can understand your concern regarding to your mother's health.
First of all we need to know the actual weight and height of the lady and the blood sugar values (fasting and 2 hours after eating).
Hba1c (the mean glucose levels of the last 3 months would be of help.
After these i would suggest how many calories does she need per day and the food to avoid.
P.S; There are no files attached. Please try to attach again.
Will be a pleasure to help you further.

Detailed Answer:
HI again,
I have gone carefully through the reports attached.
The Hba1c is 6.8%. It shows the mean glucose level of the last three months and usually we suggest to start treatment when it is over 7%.
Under 7%, diet and physical activity are suggested and monitoring Hba1c every 3 months.
If he has abdominal fat, the above mentioned suggestions can manage to keep the blood glucose at these levels or lower for some years.
The food to be restricted are those with high glycemic index such as: sweets, flour products (pasta, rice, breads ect) , fruits such as ananas, bananas should be tried to substitude with apple, strawberries, orange and no more than 2 fruits per day are recommended.
Vegetables should be consumed every day, except of patatoes that should be limited in quantity.
regarding to physical activity it is very important to try to keep it (yoga at home conditions).
Once Hba1c is over 7%, treatment with oral antidiabetics should be started.
Hope the information will help.
Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta
