Hello, My Mother Is 59 Years Old. She Has Intermitting Cough And Soar Throat With Heart Rate Is Quite High And No Feeling To Eat What Can Be These Symptoms Please Suggest?
Question: Hello, my mother is 59 years old. she has cough and soar throat from past few days. however, she had take novaclox Lb and now the cough is intermittent. however heart pulse rate is quite high i.e. 100 - 2. she took telma 40 and cardace 5mg along with Amaryl M2 (twice a day). we have also done ecg and as per doctors it's normal. however issue is pulse rate. from past 2-3 days she also feels uneasy with no feeling to eat. don't know what happens to her. can you suggest.

Her low appetite or no feeling to eat can be probably survive to the antibiotic course she is on. So don’t worry that will recover soon.
Her fast heart rate is because of throat infection as any sort of infection is a stress to body which causes increased sympathetic stimulation leading to high heart rate. Once the infection will settle rate will also come down.
I would like to suggest you to get the following tests done
1. Ecg
2. Echocardiogram
3. HBa1C
4. Complete blood count
