Hello, My Toddler Tried Getting On The Couch, Reached Out
Question: Hello, my toddler tried getting on the couch, reached out and grabbed/pulled my penis (I was wearing boxers). It happened in of my wife (nothing weird). Anyway, my penis has had a burning sensation since Friday right under the head on the shaft where I believe he dug his thumb nail into. Is it normal for it to hurt so long?

Brief Answer:
It is an inflammatory pain.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The penile head is very delicate and sensitive with multiple nerve endings, so that it is very sensitive to pain and minor trauma can cause pain and discomfort for longer periods compared to any other part.
As of now you can use over the counter available analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief.
It is an inflammatory pain and will settle in few days.
Hope that there is no visible external wound.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks

Hello,
Thank you Dr. There is no wound, no scar, no swelling. I have no discharge either, everything looks normal it just feels like it's on fire. Is it normal for me to feel this much discomfort 2 days later? To be clear it's on the underside of my shaft right below the head.
Thank you again

Thank you Dr! How many milligrams of the anti-flammatory should I take? Also, it seems to be worsted by scented soap, in fact I was ok yesterday until I showered and it hasn't stopped burning since. Should I wash my penis with just water for the time being? Should I use hot, warm cold water?
