Question: Hello, one of my friend is having a vaginal infection which is itching continuously. it started on 27th October. today she had thick white discharge which was odourless. Could you please help as to what should she do ?

Hi,

Thanks for your query.

She needs to be examined by a gynecologist to find out what kind of infection is it. Whether it is bacterial or fungal.

Fungal infection is most common one and most of times even without examination one can start on Cap Flucan 150 mg vaginal pessary thrice daily. This has to be inserted inside the vagina.

I would strongly recommend a visit to gynecologist before starting the Cap Flucan.
