DECREASE IN THE BLOOD PRESSURE DUE TO PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Detailed Answer:
Hi...
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor"service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX
I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.
The observed decrease in the blood pressure of your's is very likely due to an increased physical activity.
This is a proven medical fact that regular physical activity makes the heart stronger, decreases the work load of heart, decrease the force on the arteries (during cardiac output) and thus lowers the blood pressure.
Physical activity also de stress An individual thus causing a synergistic effect on BP.
Being physically active, keeps the body weight under check and avoids obesity.
Obesity is one of the prime risk factors for hypertension.
All these beneficial effects of enhanced activity can lower the systolic blood pressure by an average of 5 to 10 mm of Hg which is rather equivalent to the effect acheived by some of the antihypertensive drugs.
Doctors always recommend that each person should walk 10000 steps per day to attain optimal health and avoid life style diseases.
So keep moving and stay healthy.
Hope that I have answered your query.
Happy living.
Regards.
