Hello, So Last Night Around 11:30/12:00 I Had A Few

Question: Hello, so last night around 11:30/12:00 I had a few symptoms that I thought might be a panic attack, but I've never had one like that before. I felt a little dizzy and nauseous, my body was very slightly shaking and my hands and feet felt tingly. I managed to sleep eventually around 12:30/1:00 after distracting myself for a little while and sleeping with a weighted blanket for the first time. This morning when I woke up and still now off and on I have a tingling sensation still in my left foot and sometimes in my leg. It has been over 12 hours since it started and it hasn't really gone away. I tried ice, heat and massaging it. Walking around seems alright and helps it feel ok for a little while, but it isn't great. Is this something I should be getting checked out or getting blood work done for? I am just nervous about it and don't know what to do. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
No need for blood work or check up!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I have reviewed your symptoms fully. Given the presentation and age, there is nothing to be worried about. These are somatic symptoms without any underlying pathology and would resolve spontaneously. Exercise, massage, fruits, and good hydration are all I recommend at this time.

If this fails to resolve or significantly regress, please reach back to me. I hope these guides and helps.

I wish you well. Follow up with me as you deem necessary!

Good Morning,

So I’ve been doing as you said and it’s gotten a little better, but not significantly. Which I also understand it might not be a thing that resolves so quickly. However, last night I was woken up while lying down with my left leg and foot just feeling numb and when I crossed my arms over my chest in either direction when lying on my side in certain positions a sharp pain was in my chest around my heart, but fairly central in my chest. It still is continuing a little bit today. Sometimes accompanied with a numbness or tingle in my left or right arm but never the same time. My pulse is regular 60+ a minute. I am sorry if this is alright and I’m making a deal out of something little but I am just asking because if I can avoid an ER or Urgent Care or doctor’s office during these times I would prefer it.

Am I able to ask follow ups? I did not receive a reply to my question from 5 hours ago. This is my first time using the app so I’m unsure of the typical time frames. My first one was done in about 30 mins, so I’m just wondering if I need to start a new session for follow ups?

Hi and thanks for reaching out to me again.

I have reviewed the progress notes from you. Resolution is often a slow process. Am not alarmed at this time and happy with your progress. Be calm and relaxed. Keep an eye on these and update me as you deem appropriate and more so if you are worried.

You can certainly have follow ups answered. Lateness is on my part. I am deeply sorry about that.
