Brief Answer:
I would exclude any cardiac issues.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome back to Ask a Doctor service!
Considering your description, I would exclude any cardiac issues, as it is very atypical to have only jaw pain in cardiac disorders.
I would also like to know if the pain is triggered by chewing hard food or by mouth opening ?
If the pain is triggered by hard food or even if it occurs spontaneously it could be related to a tooth infection.
If it is triggered by mouth opening, I would this about temporo- mandibular joint inflammation.
If this pain persists, I would recommend consulting with a dentist and exclude the above mentioned possible causes.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need!
Wishing all the best,
Dr.Iliri
