Hepatitis B,vaccines.Treatment?
My wife suffering from hepatitis B and she birth one baby 43 days ago .
Docters had given the two vaccines to baby on 0 day.
Now i want to start the treatment for my wife but i want to know is there any treatment which can completely remove this virus.
Please let me know or suggest me any docter who can remove this virus.
Thanks for your query.
Acute hepatitis B infection does not usually require treatment because most adults clear the infection spontaneously. Early antiviral treatment may only be required in fewer than 1% of patients, whose infection takes a very aggressive course (fulminant hepatitis) or who are immunocompromised. On the other hand, treatment of chronic infection may be necessary to reduce the risk of cirrhosis and liver cancer. Chronically infected individuals with persistently elevated serum alanine aminotransferase (AAT), a marker of liver damage, and HBV DNA levels are candidates for therapy.
Although none of the available drugs can clear the infection, they can stop the virus from replicating, thus minimizing liver damage.
Infants born to mothers known to carry hepatitis B can be treated with antibodies to the hepatitis B virus (HBIg). When given with the vaccine within twelve hours of birth, the risk of acquiring hepatitis B is reduced by 90%. This treatment allows a mother to safely breastfeed her child.
Now after proper examination and various investigations it can be decided if your wife has acute or chronic infection according to which proper personalized treatment regimen is prepared.

I consult two three docters they told me there no treamtent to remove the virus completely.
And can i go for the ayurvedic treatment.
Thanks for writing back.
You have got the right information that in chronic hepatitis infection, no drug can remove the virus completely from the body. You can check the Ayurvedic treatment if it looks promising to you. All the allopathic drugs do reduce the number of viruses present thus improving the patient's survival and decreasing the complications.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish your wife an early recovery.
ok i got your answer and i totaly agree with you.
I just want to know, i consult one docter and he suggest me one vaccine(Engeri-X) which i need to take on 0 day ,1 month and 6 month, i have already taken the 0 day vaccine.
When i did my blood test it was negative 3 month back.
should i go for the one more test to confirm the same.
And with the above vaccine i will be safe in my future life.
And can you suggest me any test for my wife to know her current position.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for writing again.
As you have already tested negative for HbsAg and now you are vaccinated I don't feel that you need to go for the test again and can continue with vaccination as per regimen. This will provide you protection form the infection in your future life.
As your wife is suffering with chronic Hepatitis B infection, she needs to monitor her liver function to see the effect of the disease on her liver so as to get treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wish your wife a good health.
