Hey Doc Around A Little Over A Week Ago I

Question: Hey Doc Around a little over a week ago I started getting lower RIGHT back pain and I cant bend down to touch my toes at all without bending my knees as I could before. the pain goes a little down the my right leg but thats not painful. lower back right/hip kills. Opinion? Thanks alot

I read your query and here is my advice.

If you did a sudden movement which may have caused it the muscles strain may be the cause.

There is a possibility of also being an issue with your lumbar spine. Possibly a herniated disc which causes inflammation of the nerve roots.
I think you may need to do a x-ray of lumbar spine.

Taking antinflammatory drugs such advil or naproxen can help reduce inflammation and pain.

I didnt make any movements at all. The only movement which isn't related , is I was standing for hours at a conference and my thigh was hurting but nothing related to lower righ back pain

Hello dear and thank you for asking again. You didn't do any movement so I think the possibility of mussels strain is excluded.
The other possibility is an issue with your lumbar spine such bulking disc which may cause inflammation of nerve roots.
This may cause the pain you are feeling.
I can recommend you to do a x-ray of spine.
Also taking advil or aleve will help you.

I took a picture and pointed to the exact location of the pain but goes to bottom right and a little down my leg if that helps. Glutes area? just trying to be focused when I go to the doctor. I do have some Nausia but I dont know if its because of the pain. Thanks

I think the nausea may not be related to the leg is pain.
A pain that starts in gluteus down the leg is most likely a sciatica nerve pain.
Bulking disc in lumbar region may be the cause.

Hey Doc my last question regarding this issue. Could this bottom right lower back ipain be caused by the Prostate? I am 46 and never had any issues. Just an inflamed one years ago. Advice please thanks
