Hey Dr. I Have A Family Member That Suffers From
Answer in detail below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi mark6salgado,
Thanks for your query.
I have read it & understood your concern.
Anxiety&depression are common concerns these days of bussiness compitition / bussy schedule /lonliness to elders who are all alone&left unloved or uncared for(which is need of happy old life)./ depression out of unemployment in young adults.
And yes, apart from/along with, medical help in form of medication by a nurophysician or few sittings with counsellar for psychotherapy, a pet in house does wonders!..as it fills up the gap of lonliness & love the person needs.
*Pets are available for sell in pet shop in big towns.
In small places ,some people have a personal bussiness to supply such pets as &when they are born.
The known aquantences who have pets( which are expecting puppys)... can be be contacted & booking of a puppy as its born can be done.
If these sources are not available, you can put an advertisement in local news paper about the need of a pet..the concerned people would contact &help you.
*A local veternary doctor can offer exact&useful help
I hope that answers your query.Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks
Dog needs ADA certification...details below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi mark6salgado,
Thanks for the follow up query.
Yes, a service dog is essential to help a disabled person.and it needs ADA certification to be a service dog.
(ADA-American-Disabled -Act)
-Dog's age&health&temparament is considered for it.
-Dog needs to be trained to perform tasks to help out the disabled...This can be done by a registered dog trainer/or by yourself.
-Dog needs to pass Public acess test.
-The person who needs service dog needs doctor's certification about the need
- A legal department or veternary department of Government office has to be approached for the ADA certification of a service dog.
I feel that helps you.
Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
