Hey, I Was Wondering If Taking 2,000mg Of Phytosterols Every

Question: Hey, I was wondering if taking 2,000mg of Phytosterols every day will raise liver enzymes. I am mid forties and my LDL cholesterol has being slowly going up over the last few years and I changing my diet and wanted to take some supplements. Why I ask about raising liver enzymes is b/c I don't mind an alcoholic beverage every now and again and I have to watch my liver enzymes which are OK now but, I don't want to potentially affect my liver.

I did not ask about liver enzymes and alcohol. I asked if taking Phytosterols would raise my liver enzymes independent of alcohol. Please don't dodge the question and answer my question. And I understand that lifestyle changes will affect LDL, but will taking Phytosterols raise my liver enzymes by themselves?
