Detailed Answer:
Hii You are having allergic pharyngitis or mild upper respiratory tract infection which has lead you to cough. Start some betadine gargle to reduce the allergic inflammation of your throat. Take Montelukast levocetrizine tablet as it will reduce the allergy of your upper respiratory system and hel. Take steam inhalation. You can take some bromhexine lozenge also. Drink more water. No need to start any antibiotic. If the cough does not resolve within 1 week and there is thick sputum then you may need to start tablet antibiotic. If you are having running nose or headache you can take nasockear nose drop. Please review if you have any queries.

Doc That means I should go to the doctor because I am overseas. Is there anything else that you can recommend instead of taking an antibiotic? Can this clear by itself ? Thanks
