Question: Hey doctor,
About 7 weeks ago I had sex with a girl I didn’t really know it didn’t last that long probably about 30 seconds of actual intercourse she was my age or 22, Caucasian and living in Australia. I wore a condom and it stayed on but did slip up a little but still covered the majority of my penis. Over a week later I did bunch for tests for bunch of STI’s, hiv, hepatitis etc which all came out clear for anything. What’s worrying me what are the chances of still getting hiv and hepatitis since they take a while to develop right my doctor said to do another test in 3 months if I’m really worried? I just have bad health anxiety and that was the first time I had sex. I don’t believe this girl had anything she did have tattoos if that means anything am I just getting anxious over nothing?

We didn’t have oral sex or anything either and it was just with her on top was the only position.

Considering your history it is highly unlikely that you have got infected with any STD.
However, a miniscule chance always exists and there is no way you can find out about that at this point of time. You shall have to repeat all your tests 3 months post exposure to make sure everything is fine.
I can understand your anxiety but you really don't have any other option than wait for few more weeks.

Hey doctor I actually ended up asking the girl and she said she’s never had anything and had been tested so I assume it should be fine and don’t have to worry about it?
