Hey Doctor, Last Night I Tried A New Cologne Spray
Question: Hey doctor,
Last night I tried a new cologne spray which I had sprayed on my neck however after a couple of hours I started sneezing and getting headaches and I can still smell it the next day. I’ve had two showers trying to get the smell out by washing with warm water but I’ve had no luck so far is there anyway I can get the smell of it out? I’ve had this happened in the past and it’s taken a couple of days to get rid of it but it’s just making me feel sickly.

Brief Answer:
Talcum powder, moisturizing cream, antihistaminic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
There are no specific medicines which can remove the smell.
I would recommend you to take bath frequently for 3-4 days and apply a talcum powder on the neck 2-3 times in a day.
Along with this use a moisturizing cream which suits you on the neck twice daily.
Take an antihistaminic like tablet cetrizine 10 mg once daily at bedtime for 3-4 days.
These measures will help in removing the smell quickly.
