Question: Hi - I am pregnant 26 weeks and I have bad insomnia. My doctor prescribed ambien to me and said it is safe at this point in pregnancy. I take 10 mg a night and it's the only way I can sleep. I have been looking online and there is mixed feedback on if it is safe or not. Please tell me!

Ambien contain zolpidem and it is safe drug to use during pregnancy but regular use and high doses not recommended during pregnancy.
