Question: Hi - I've been experiencing a low-level "ache" in my arms, upper chest and jaw after fairly minimal exertion (climbing stairs to 3rd floor, for example.) When I sit and concentrate, "willing it to subside," it generally dissipates. I don't know what to make of it. I've never experienced anything like it.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to possible coronary artery disease.

A bulging disc in the cervical vertebral column can not be excluded either.

For this reason, I would recommend performing a resting ECG, a cardiac ultrasound, and an exercise cardiac stress test or a Dobutamine cardiac stress echo in order to investigate for possible coronary artery disease.

It is also important performing a cervical spine X Ray study.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
