Hi - Over The Past 10 Days I Have Been
Question: Hi - over the past 10 days I have been experiencing severe and unusual headaches that start immediately after sex and last at least 24 hours. Initially, the headache is very painful and makes me uncomfortable to the extent it makes feel that something is popping up out of the two front sides of my head. Then it slows down a bit but intensifies when I do exercises like taking shower or other body exercises. It goes away after about 24 hours.
The same headache comes back when I start having sex. With this new situation, I am unable to do regular sex per day as I was used to do at least 3 different rounds.
I have been taking panaldol and paracetamol 500mg to relief the pain. But none has been helpful and they are useless.
Any advice please noting that I have never had such situation in the past

The scan needed is MRI with MR Angiogram Brain.
In my patients, I use Indomethacin at a dose of 25 mg and Rizatriptan at a dose of 10 mg, to be taken immediately after headache begins. One needs to take any one of these medicines, and not both.
Propranolol is given at a starting dose of 40 mg taken once daily after breakfast for one month.
