Brief Answer:
Looks more to be a muscular pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
We undertand your concern because Left side pain is always worrisome both for the patients and th doctors and it is not without reasons.Howe'ver most of the left side pains are not cardiac speciallyif there is no risk for it . ( Diabetes , old age , hypertension )
Your pain looks to me very unlikely to be cardiac. This is because you do not have any risk factors and pain is not classical cardiac one. Cardiac pain is more diffused , is not sharp, and is associated with other cardiac symptoms like sweating , shortness of breath , or fainting etc.If you do not have any of this , I dont think we should worry about the heart.
Another point to differentiate heart pain from muscular pain is that if the pain area is localised and if it aches with touch or pressure on that area than its unlikely to be cardiac .

So this does not look to be cardiac .You can use some heat application , pain killer like ibuprofen , and massage as needed to heal the pain.
If the pain persists , you have shortness of breath , sweating , pain goes to Jaw , or fainting or sever cough or vomiting , then you should urgently go to ER.
If none of the above , and you dont feel very sick I confident this is not something serious.
Hopes I have answered your question. Please feel free to ask anything else you need to know.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Looks to be muscular one.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mrs tdifon. Good day
Yes its obviuolsy not cardiac.
either it looks to be muscular or from the rib joint.
Let me explain it .
Infact gas probelm ( stomch problems)is more diffused in tummy and mostly after meals and is not localised.
Gall stones ar on right side. Yes kidney stones may be in left side, but that also is not localised and is mostly in the whole flank .it may radiate to the groin , may be associated with vomiting and urinary urgency and frequency. And the pain may be severe.
So to me it appears as it's from muscle stretch or soreness. This specially aches when we use that muscles like with posture , bending , raising hands.

One another possibilty is some times we get inflamation of the ribs joints called treitz syndrome In this the rib where it ataches to the chest bone is inflamed. It causes pain specially when that site on the ribs , ie the joint is pressed .
So to me it's either of the muscles or rib joint .none of them is serious most of time. The latter may take few weeks to be fine .

Hopes it clear now .Please don hesitate to ask anything else.
