Hi, All Day I've Been Experiencing An Intermittent Very Intense

Question: Hi, All day I've been experiencing an intermittent very intense heat across my upper back (almost like I've put on deep heat), almost covering across my whole upper back area including both the shoulder blades, traps, rear delts and spinal area. I am noticing my skin in general feels quite irritated hot, prickly and itchy, particularly on my forearms, mid-centre back area, my neck, upper chest (clavicle)and shoulders. When I put pressure on my skin anywhere it leaves a red mark for an unusually long amount of time. I also feel quite flush and hot in general, but not feverish, the heat is very external.
Brief Answer:
Urticarial rash, antihistaminic, calamine lotion
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and it seems to be an urticarial rash.
It is an allergic rash.
I would recommend you to take antihistaminic like tablet cetrizine 10 mg twice daily and apply calamine lotion on the affected areas 2-3 times in a day for 10 days.
This will help in resolving your problem.

Hi, thank you for your response. I purchased the antihistamine tablets, however it says to take no more than 1 per day. So is it safe to take 2 as you have recommended? Thank you
