Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that vitamin K2 MK7 is a very good supplement to help reduce osteoporosis and prevent liver cancer.

But, vitamin K2 as vitamin K1 is also essential for the thrombus formation (blood clotting).

There are many studies, which show that even in small doses it can interfere with oral anticoagulation, more specifically warfarin.

Anyway, it does not interact with rivaroxaban, so it is not counterindicated in this case.

Another study showed that clotting risk was not affected by MK-7 intakes as high as 360 mcg a day for 6 months.

But, considering your past medical history of blood clotting, I would not recommend taking this supplement, considering the fact that its adverse effects in your case may outfit its benefits.

Hope to have been helpful!
