Brief Answer:
Calm down, take a puff of inhaler, warm water, reclining position
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history and understood the concerns.
My thoughts:
There is a feeling of oatmeal piece stuck in throat; usually this is not possible.
Coughing is a reflex symptom.
Since you have asthma, it might have got exacerbated.
Anxiety adds-on all the symptoms.
I would advise you the following:
First of all, please calm down, take slow and deep breath, try to control coughing spasms.
Take a puff of inhaler, this may help.
Take warm water orally sip by sip.
Sit in a reclining position.
Please get these done and let me if this helps.
If you feel urgency, better to go to ER.
